This orichalcum mine in the deep mountains of the south has been purged from records so completely that, outside of a few loyal servants of the Empress who control it, only the dead know of it. Well hidden by dense, tall jungle, the mine is nearly impossible to find, even if you know where to look.
Under the Empire
Finding the Mine
Regret of the Sun ran across a ghost in the southern desert, who exchanged personal knowledge of this mine for services Regret provided to an ancestor. The ghost related the following, which she had been told led to the mine:
In the mountains to the southwest of the Lap, find the temple built upon the twins. Just as the Unconquered light retires, let its child face the family from under his father's hand. The sun of the son of the Sun will show the way.
Discovers twins is a lunar lair. Finds ring of db who killed mate.
Last Basalt is the remnants of the Twins, one of which fell after the first age.
The Site
In addition to the orichalcum veins, the caves contain a solar denesne that has been capped by a level 3 manse consisting of several rooms underground leading into a tall, hollow tower that just through the surface, rising a hundred feet into the jungle.
The energy in the manse also feeds three warstriders that are bound to the manse.
