Alabaster

Real World History

My first official super hero character ever. Created for group in Long Island, in a campaign that takes place in San Francisco in the 1970s. Looks like we have moved on to a different game, so I guess this character is in limbo for the moment.

Personality

German ice queen and a bit of a Euro-snob.

Appearance

Gorgeous, tall and willowy. In stone form, like an alabaster statue.

History

Born to privileged family. Highly educated. Skilled pianist from young age. University in the U.S., where she became interested in archeology. After graduation, spent summer working on dig in central america. Became lost in the jungle and eventually took shelter in a cave she happened across. The cave had a strange rock formation in it, over which water had been dripping to form a strange, glowing pool. As it was the only water available, Ilke drank from the pool.

The water seemed to invigorate her, and after spending the night in the cave, drinking occasionally, she moved on, eventually finding her way back to the dig site. Over the next few months strange powers developed, and she realized that the water in the cave had mutated her. Though she looked for the cave since, she has never found it.
