Letter from Knights of the Pale

Imminent invasion

Leads:

• "The Final Ritual can now begin. Wuntad invested with Galchutt power after feeding on Galchutt flesh and bathing in Galchutt blood. Erepodi knows the location. Find the demon Gisszaggat. The return of the moon will herald the time."

Invasion starts while tracking down Erepodi.

• 12,000 barbarians. 3,000 militia.
• People are freaking out.
• Lots of petty crime.
• Lots of racist hate crime, first against scruffy people, then against various races (Harrow elves, etc.)

At some point prior to going into the temple, the moon vanishes. More people freak out.

• Spells stop working for about an hour.
• Inverted Pyramid appears over Oldtown.
• Soaring Idyll apartment building falls in the Nobles' Quarter (looted an hour later).

Banewarrens

• Cassiadora calls in her marker.
  • Sent a team into the Banewarrens. They got killed.
  • Team also had a marker, so she can teleport in the party in, as long as the complex remains unsealed.
  • Knows the Knights of the Pale are interested in the sword of truth, and wants them stopped. (Maybe she is part of the inverted pyramid?)
  • Knows that the Inverted Pyramid wants to re-seal the Banewarrens, and needs to focus her efforts on interfering with this until the party succeeds.
  • Only then, would like party to seal the Banewarrens, if possible.
• The Pactlords of the Quaan want the black grail from the Banewarrens.
• The Shuul want stuff from the Banewarrens.
• The lich wants stuff from the Banewarrens.
• House Vaadim wants to find Caverns of the Galchutt.
• House Shever wants to stop House Vaadim.
