Crownbranded template

Undead branded by the remnant crown become tougher than usual through gaining this template, which can be applied to any undead creature. A crownbranded undead retains all the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as noted here.

Challenge Rating: Same as the base creature +1.

Defensive Abilities: Crownbranded with damage reduction add an "and lawful" rider to the types of damage required to penetrate it. For example, an existing DR 5/slashing becomes DR/5 slashing and lawful, so only lawfully aligned slashing weapons get around it. If the wearer has no existing damage reduction, they gain DR 5/lawful.

Feats: Crownbranded gain the Iron Will feat, if they don't already possess it.

Special Qualities: Crownbranded gain the following special quality:

Sound body (Su): Crownbranded gain the maximum number of hit points per hit die.

Skills: Crownbranded gain a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate skill checks.
