Alabaster Key

In spite of the name, this collar sized ring is made of silver, not alabaster. The silver is nearly pure, and is worn down on the inside. Elaborate engraved lines seem to flow around the ring. About the thickness of a pen, the ring is inscribed with words in an unknown language. The only word we've been able to decipher is "alabaster".

The craftsmanship is remarkable and points to the Guild of Revierus. It also hints at involvement with dwarves. According to the sage Garvin, the ring is a key to a treasure trove in Fratler in the Harkken Mountains. The key is one of ten made -- each key opening a treasure trove -- three of which have broken. Some rumors say that the troves are empty. Others say that the dwarfs and Revierus locked something away in each chamber.
