A wingless dragon seemingly fashioned from stained glass, Diamaskratos' beauty inspires all who see him, even as he devours them. His four legs support a lithe, but nearly indestructible glass body nearly 30 yards long from nose to tail, with a head full of sharp teeth and four tails with razor sharp tips that hit like starmetal reaver daiklaives.

Originally a 5-dot behemoth tamed by [[Erratic Threnody]], Diamaskratos has grown into something else since his master was defeated, broken and forced to bond with him. In theory, Threndoy maintains Diamaskratos for [[Misplaced Promise]] but, while Threnody does commit the essence needed to keep the dragon bound to Promise, Diamaskratos does more to maintain Threnody than the other way around. Over the centuries of their pairing, Diamaskratos has learned to access the uncommitted portion of his keeper's essence pool, which he now claims as his own. The dragon generally uses this pool to power some of the mutations Threnody is sharing with him.

Diamaskratos' task is to guard the Hall of Glass, tirelessly preventing the uninvited from gaining passing further into [[Kinaniz]]. For his part, Threnody still possesses the ability to shape, and can still wield formidable shaping combat charms, but he generally lacks the will to use them. Intruders occasionally disrupt his solitude enough to warrant a shaping attack, particularly if the statues in the Hall of Glass are desecrated.

* All who wish to attack or impede must make a Willpower (2) roll once for each round in which they want to do so (Ambrosial Ascension).
* All attackers reduce pools by two dice (Fearsome Mien). This is a work of glamour, and has no effect on those with a Valor + Essence greater than seven, or those protected from glamour.
* Bite does peircing damage. May only bite once per round.
* Breath weapon is acid, spraying all within 10 yards in a 45-degree arc. Must spend 1 Willpower to use, and may only be used once every two rounds. Used as a normal attack but, if used, cannot bite in same turn. On hit, acid permanently reduces soak of non-magical armor.
* Suffers no penalties from darkness (Assumption of Earth Shape).
* 5 motes: Give a witnessed action a 3 dice pentalty via manipulating earth (World-Angering Elemental Mastery).
* 5 motes: Attack target 500 yards away with Dexterity + Brawl, doing 6L damage (Teeth of the World).
* 5 motes: Shake the ground, knocking all within 30 yards down unless they spend a normal action making a Dexterity + Athletics (1) roll (Teeth of the World).
