(ay-deet-OO-lass) In Kheizget's pantheon, goddess (median) of beauty, poetry and fertility. One of the triplets.

Appearance

An unearthly beautiful woman/child, often dirty or soiled in ethereal white rags. Scholars and priests alike argue about the symbolism of the dirty rags--that they represent her closeness to the earth and moon, or alternatively, as badges of the dishonor she suffered at Victul's hand.

Demeanor, Influence

Gentle and kind, and perhaps more involved in seduction than her priests would like to acknowledge, she is a gentle force in the day to day living of man. She is appealed to for the conception of children, to make the lands fertile, and to free the imagination of bards and poets. Some mages even claim devotion to her.

Symbols

Animal dove, sparrows, doe, swan
Plant flowers, sycamore trees
Man-made candlestick, cradle
Other feathers
