(DEK-uhl-UD-gek) In Kheizget's pantheon, god (median) of passion, jealousy, envy, revenge, sexuality, lust

Appearance

A young, raging, man, arrogant in airs, who must have whatever he desires as he wants for it. Finely dressed with amazing weapons.

Demeanor, Influence

The ultimate naive hot-head. The slightest flirt sets him afire with passion, the tiniest slight sets him raging. He follows every passionate whim with the full avail of all his faculties and resources and ardor. His representation of revenge is not to be confused with En'epul, who exacts just vengeance. Dekl'udgek is a loose cannon -- no challenge is too small, or lost on his imagination, no insult, real or imagined, is too small to be lost on his sensitive and revengeful soul. Truly he is the marriage of war and chaos, the brother and sister that begot him even as they rose from the bloodied soil of Victul's rape of Ediitulas. He embodies the brutality of his genesis, which seems to have distilled itself more purely with each act of atrocity that lead to his birth. En'epul has done battle with him repeatedly, but even that noble warrior cannot quell the brutality of Dekl'udgek, whose influence and power over mankind grows with each day. His grandfather Victul releases the winter grip for many reasons, and one is that at the end of winter, Dekl'udgek's power over men's tempers and desires is almost unchecked, and only the wonders of spring can quell the evil emotions. Some scholars claim that Victul is aware of the negativity and in fact grimly acknowledges it as part of his justice -- winter and hot emotions run particularly badly for those involved in mischief making -- like Bikeshk.
