This will happen automatically, no matter where the familiar is, unless the lunar pays an additional five motes when activating Deadly Beastman Transformation.

| When this charm is learned, the lunar's player selects the war form of the familiar. Once selected, this form is always the same. The lunar add a number of dots equal to her Essence to the familiar's physical attributes in any combination. An additional Essence dots are added to the familiar's abilities. The war form also gains the lunar's Essence in mutation points, usually including the Large or Huge mutations. Bonuses from these mutations stack with attribute and ability enhancements. If the lunar increases her Essence, an additional attribute dot, ability dot and mutation point are added to the familar's war form.
